Rent termination process

At least 1 month in advance
We recommend that you cancel the lease as early as possible. This increases the chance that a new resident will be known when you leave. You can coordinate matters with the new resident and arrange takeover.

Keep in mind that the rent can be canceled at least 1 month and a maximum of 3 months in advance. You can cancel any day of the month.

Pre-and final inspection
During the telephone pre-inspection, we discuss whether the house is in good condition and whether changes have been made. We indicate how the house must be delivered. During the final inspection of your home, we check whether the home has been delivered as agreed.

New residents and takeover
Taking over items is only possible if a new tenant is known in time. When you terminate the lease, you will receive a form on which you can record agreements about the takeover.

Hand in keys
You hand in the keys in the date and manner that you have agreed with our mutation inspector. Where and when you deliver the keys is stated on the admission form. This has been received during the recording of your property.

Final statement
You will receive a departure note from us on which the final settlement is stated. Outstanding amounts are always settled with the final settlement, for example the costs of the home if it is not delivered as agreed. Please note that the final settlement of the service costs can only be settled later, at the same time as all sitting tenants.
